Another party

It gets quite busy in the garden when a fox organizes a party, I only supply the goodies and they arrange the guests.
They do have the manners to show thanks with a little visit to my window to say thanks.
Then it is back to the mayhem to grab a mouthful before it all goes.

  1. I think there was a sign in town, "Party at Mike's house" and they obviously all read it!

    1. No David, I think it was several signs in several towns. Take care,

  2. Now that's the sort of party that I like, Mike - quiet, appreciative, and polite guests ! I shall have to consider appointing you as a party planner for my next birthday!

Sorry for the very late visit - I've been away in Norfolk for five days.

    Best wishes - - - Richard

    1. Sorry Richard seemed to have missed your comment. You are welcome any time but the parties only last about 10 minutes. Take care.
      Mike.

    1. Thankyou Lasse, I have a family of 5 foxes and I thoroughly enjoy their company. They love to play in my large front garden where they are most welcome. Regards, Mike.

  4. It's good to see them not falling out Mike. And I do think that one is doing his Oliver Twist piece and asking for more as well as saying "Thanks".

    1. Sorry I am a bit late Phil, still having troubles. I put my animals first.
Glad you can see the funny side of their antics. Take care.

About Me

My photo
Evacuated during the second world war to a village in Yorkshire where I lived in the home of a good photographer for more than five years who taught me the basics and a great deal about nature. Well past retirement age I have been a wildlife photographer for more than 30 years. Red Kites have been my speciality for much of this period. I did spend several years snapping wheelchair athletes and organizing the British Road Race Championship. In the year 2000 I was awarded a distinction by the Royal Photographic Society for my portfolio on wheelchair athletes. Most of my pics are digital, using Sony cameras and Sigma lenses. I used to spend many weeks each year with friends in Wales which is close to the Elan Valleys where I got many of my raptor pics. I now get these pictures more closely to home, specially red kites and peregrines. I support my pension by selling my pics, cards, coasters, fridge magnets and key rings etc. at craft fairs, something I wish I had done much earlier in life. I give illustrated talks to clubs and societies on wildlife and other branches of photography that I have been involved in.
