Missing for a couple of days

I have been off line for a couple of days as some rogue had got into my system, but with the help of my friends I silenced and destroyed the path into my set-up. It was costly in time but the animals carried on as usual, in fact there is three outside my window enjoying their supper.

  1. The foxes have no concerns about computer problems, Mike, and can show up for a guaranteed snack. That’s the kind of life we should all have!

    1. Yes David, foxes are very intelligent creatures but I don't think they are into computers yet. Mike.

  2. There are a lot of evil people out the, Mike, that prey on us good folk, so take good care. Your foxy friends must have been a source of comfort for you during that dilemma.

    1. Thankyou for your visit and comment Maria. Foxes are said to be sly and cunning but they are far from that. They are clever and have a brain that works. Dad fox has known me for several years. He was a cub of a few weeks when he first came into my garden, his parents left and after a couple of months he found himself a wife. This year they had a family of 4 cubs which he used to bring to the garden every night for supper, now they all come on their own. Often when I put the food out they are waiting and I get little grunts of approval when I talk to them.
      Take care.
      Mike.

    1. Yes Phil, still doing running repairs but improving daily. The foxes are well and getting cheekier every night. When I put the food out the lights come on and there is at least 3 sitting waiting. I shall soon have them eating out of my hand. Take care.
      Mike.

About Me

My photo
Evacuated during the second world war to a village in Yorkshire where I lived in the home of a good photographer for more than five years who taught me the basics and a great deal about nature. Well past retirement age I have been a wildlife photographer for more than 30 years. Red Kites have been my speciality for much of this period. I did spend several years snapping wheelchair athletes and organizing the British Road Race Championship. In the year 2000 I was awarded a distinction by the Royal Photographic Society for my portfolio on wheelchair athletes. Most of my pics are digital, using Sony cameras and Sigma lenses. I used to spend many weeks each year with friends in Wales which is close to the Elan Valleys where I got many of my raptor pics. I now get these pictures more closely to home, specially red kites and peregrines. I support my pension by selling my pics, cards, coasters, fridge magnets and key rings etc. at craft fairs, something I wish I had done much earlier in life. I give illustrated talks to clubs and societies on wildlife and other branches of photography that I have been involved in.
