We are going to have a family ?

This is what I have been waiting for Juniors young lady to show up for some food. This she did last night proudly showed off in front of my camera. She was not a bit alarmed by my presence and calmly xollected some biscuits and strolled of onto the night. I had for some time suspected it but I think this photo confirms it.

  2. Promiscuity in the backyard! Oh, for shame! I think your guess is correct, Mike, based on what I see. I hope that you will have the pleasure of the kits playing in the yard. A friend of ours had a fox den under her the deck at the back of the house and really enjoyed having them. They gained so much confidence she and her husband could sit on their deck in the evening with the young foxes playing in front of them. Best wishes, David

    1. Qh no David, I won't allow that sort of carrying on in my back yard. I look forward to having the family round for supper though. Take care,
      Mike.

I have a lot of catching up to do, having been indisposed with some kind of tummy bug, for a couple of weeks.
    All the best.

    1. I hope you are better now Sonjia. I have something similar that I have had for more than forty years so I know how dibilitating it can be. The fox is lovely and Junior has taught her to trust me and she is not scared. Take care.
      Mike.

About Me

My photo
Evacuated during the second world war to a village in Yorkshire where I lived in the home of a good photographer for more than five years who taught me the basics and a great deal about nature. Well past retirement age I have been a wildlife photographer for more than 30 years. Red Kites have been my speciality for much of this period. I did spend several years snapping wheelchair athletes and organizing the British Road Race Championship. In the year 2000 I was awarded a distinction by the Royal Photographic Society for my portfolio on wheelchair athletes. Most of my pics are digital, using Sony cameras and Sigma lenses. I used to spend many weeks each year with friends in Wales which is close to the Elan Valleys where I got many of my raptor pics. I now get these pictures more closely to home, specially red kites and peregrines. I support my pension by selling my pics, cards, coasters, fridge magnets and key rings etc. at craft fairs, something I wish I had done much earlier in life. I give illustrated talks to clubs and societies on wildlife and other branches of photography that I have been involved in.
